Guestbook

For those that visit the Guestbook - you may have noticed the Spammers have found us and fill up pages with links back to their "buy cheap drugs" sites etc. Seems somedays they are posting them faster than we can remove them. We are looking into ways to stop them but it might take a wee while. One option is to have every new entry approved by admin before they appear on the site.

Matt and young Logan Watts

We would like to welcome Matt Watts - our good friend over in the good ole USA whose son Logan is dealing with SMA Type 1

Matt is a prolific writer and issues a weekly newsletter on Logan and his families journey.

We've made Matt's Peanut Reports available at www.peanut.smaaustralia.com so we can all keep up with Logans progress.

He's also unknowingly testing out the script being used - shhhh don't tell him.

We are looking to make this feature available to members of the SMAAA on request who are going to be submitting many articles and pictures. It makes my life (Tim Brownlaw) much easier in maintaining lots of articles.

Site update

The style sheets have been modified to make the printing of pages fit correctly.

So now you should be able to print off any of the articles etc from the site. All the graphics have been disabled so don't be alarmed if none of the pictures appear. That has been done intentionally for now.

'

2 October 2005

Articles in Printable Format

Articles etc can now be printed from the site that are "printer friendly" without all the graphics, backgrounds etc.

There are still a few tweaks here and there that need addressing such as font sizes but it's functional.

To anyone that has visited our website in the past, you would have noticed that the site has had a facelift! We have been working hard to both make the site more interesting and to have more content. Some of the new pages added are as follows

  • More about SMA in the About SMA page
  • The Addition of the Kirby Bear Page
  • Donations Page
  • Media Releases Page
  • And this one - the What's New page

Additional content has also been placed in the "Your stories" section.

You would have also noticed that we have a rotating banner for advertising for our sponsors and there will be an inclusion of a sponsor's page.

We appreciate the feedback that you have given in regards to the site.
